Audible Altimeter
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:30:45 am »
I'm looking to get an audible altimeter but really don't know much about the different models. Any thought/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Kind of depends on what you are looking for.  Do you want a logbook too?  or just an audible?

I have a pro-dyter, it is a basic model, has 3 alarms and that is it, its not a logbook.  I like it just fine for my purposes.

Logbook might be nice, but not essential.

I have an AltiTrack and an Optima and I like the combination, but I'd say just go through and compare the specs, features, and prices for the Solo, Optima, and Viso (I see they have new versions of these as well), and pick the one you like best.

All the info on these can be found here:

I just realized this thread was from like 2 months ago... so did you pick one out yet?
