I feel like a rock star!!. So i was in Southfeld this morning at 5am for a small project. SO i am siting here the Big Boy having Oatmeal and toast ad thinking why i didnt listen to Ryan Earlier. The canopy rides have been more  comfortable and enjoyable since employing "The Ryan Hanold canopy course wth wne". I hope that wth tunnel time this winter and more canopy practice that next season he may even be proud to call me "his Student"

Hello everyone.

Ryan- If you're looking for ideas to help students and newbies keep their "heads in the game" during the off-season, I would love to learn a lot more about my gear. It'd be great to take it apart, and put it back togther. Basically, really understand my rig inside and out. More canopy instruction and packing tips would be helpful too. Anyway, that's my two cents.

Take care,
Lou

One of the best ways of learning about your gear in detail is to stay and watch when your gear is getting repacked. You can see all of your gear and what the riggers look for on a repack. You can also ask a few questions while they pack. When I did this I also gave the rigger a little more money because it slows them up. But this is probably the best way to get details on how your gear works.

As for canopy information,  I would love to do a "canopy dinner" again. If there is intrest we could pick a night and place where we can sit and talk canopy flight over dinner. It went rather well last time and I would love to do it again.

I'd like to get in on that.  I presume information will show up in this "thread" you speak of eventually?

I wll be in any where you guys choose.(Please Not MUKS!) It was a better amosphere than the dz because people were more comfortable i think. Ryan did a great job in explaining things so that even a simpleton like me could better relate.

This is definitely one hobbie you need to keep evolving!

Forget canopy course with wine. Try Tunnel time with liquor. It's an absolutely splendid way to burn money.

Seriously though. Never park a few bars away from the tunnel!
